Little Rainbow Lovey Blanket

The silk part ripped off the fuzzy part. My other daughter had their pink flower lovey for three years and counting but this one ripped week one for my youngest I’m so upset

This is a perfect accessory to include for any baby gift! The children love them and parents do, too! This is a chic, little lovey that will be a show stopper!

I bought two of these loveys a year ago for my son (one for our house and one for his grandparent’s house). He sleeps with one every night. I needed a third to bring to preschool and waited eight weeks while these were out of stock. Finally they were back and I was thrilled! When it arrived, I was very disappointed to see they had swapped the satin border with a shoddier, thinner fabric that isn’t smooth to the touch. A satin border is very common in loveys because kids like the feeling of the smooth satin. I’m perplexed about why Lucy Darling would change the design. I contemplated returning it but am going to have a seamstress remove the crappy border and replace it with an identical satin one. My son adores this lovey, especially running his hands along the satin edge when he’s trying to fall asleep, and I need an identical product for him to have at school everyday.

Super disappointed I couldn’t rely on Lucy Darling to keep the same design just a year later. It’s common for parents to need 1 or 2 backups for loveys, and it’s also common to wait to buy those backups until parents know what lovey their kid will become attached to. Beyond frustrated I couldn’t count on Lucy Darling.

In all fairness, there is only a small difference between the original and new version of the blankey. The redesigned blankey is still soft, adorable, and of great quality! However, my 1.5 yo is obsessed with his original "Teddy" and once these restocked, I ran to purchase him a spare. Shipping was fast, but to my disappointment, my son noticed very quickly that the new teddy was not the same as the original. We are hoping he warms up to it, but I don't understand why there was a need to change the original design.

This lovie (elley) is my little ones favorite blankie! He sleeps with her every night! It has been such a game changer in his sleeping because it helps him calm himself back to sleep! Best thing ever!

I have been searching for a lovey for awhile now & a friend recommended that I check out Lucy Darling. I came across this one & it caught my eye. I have yet to take it out of the box and see if my little one likes it (she won’t be here until next year), but so far I’m such a fan! :) It’s a beautiful little lovey that I feel like my newest little one will enjoy for years to come.
