Covering the Bump
We all have such different preferences for fashion...when our bodies are our own! When we have a basketball where our stomachs used to be, it can call for some adjustments to our normal styles (to say the least). I sometimes have trouble with this, because I look at the maternity sections of stores and just think "I'd never wear that print...but I'm pregnant and I guess it fits!", instead of trying harder to find things that still make me feel like me. Fortunately, there are lots of moms who try much harder than I do, and I can use them for some inspiration!
Staying at home with two little ones means that my style is dictated by ease and comfort. And while this sometimes means a week of leggings (total transparency here!), my pre-pregnancy style is a little preppy and "classic." I like button-downs and statement earrings...but I like to throw my hair up in a messy bun with it :).
When I'm pregnant, that usually translates to this:

This dress looks like something I'd totally wear pre-pregnancy...and after! Shirt dresses are a nursing mama's friend:
I love the idea of wearing a slouchy blazer over the maternity tees and tanks instead of a sweater...I think it would make me feel a little more pulled together!
And I haven't worn a pair of overalls since I was about 8, but this picture is making me rethink that!
