When you have a new baby, it can feel like they’re outgrowing their adorable little outfits every two weeks!
Staying on top of the ever-changing wardrobe can seem daunting,
but a few simple hacks can make a big difference.
Here are some of my favorite tips for keeping baby clothes organized and stress-free:
1. Keep a bin for outgrown items
Having a dedicated bin or basket nearby makes it easy to toss clothes in as soon as they’re too small.
Overflowing drawers and hangers with clothes that no longer fit used to be my norm—until I discovered this trick.
It’s a game-changer for managing baby clothes and storing those too-small pieces for the next stage (or the next baby!).
2. Use drawer organizers
Drawer organizers, like the ones from Ikea, have been a lifesaver.
They help separate bodysuits, pants, and socks for easy access, even if you’re not one to fold everything neatly.
I loved them so much that I still use them now that my kiddo is five!
3. Invest in closet dividers
While I didn’t hang every item,
I found closet dividers perfect for organizing jackets, special occasion outfits, and toddler dresses.

4. Booties over socks
Tiny socks are notorious for getting lost or falling off.
I discovered that booties or moccasins with Velcro or snaps stayed on much better and were easier to keep track of than traditional socks.
5. Simplify the wardrobe
I was fortunate to receive lots of hand-me-downs, but I wish I had pared it down to our absolute favorites sooner.
If snap pajamas aren’t your thing, stock up on zippered ones and skip the rest.
Babies grow so quickly in the first year that having a streamlined wardrobe makes keeping things organized so much easier.
Remember, keeping it simple and practical is key.
With these hacks, you can enjoy more time with your little one and less time stressing over their ever-changing wardrobe.
