The holiday season brings an abundance of festive cards from friends and family,
and today I’m sharing a simple and creative way to organize and display them!
Inspired by a Pinterest find, this DIY project is a fun way to showcase your cards while adding some
holiday cheer to your walls.
XO, Enjoy!
Materials Needed:
-
Washi Tape (any color)
-
Garland (any color)
-
Tinsel (any color)
-
Thumb tacks (any color)
-
White clothes pins
-
1 large gift wrap bow (any color)

1. Decide on the number of “branches.”

-
Start by planning how many branches you want your tree to have, with each branch gradually getting bigger as you go down the tree.
-
Alternate between twine and garland for a fun textural contrast.
2. Find the center spot on your wall.

-
This will be where your tree begins.
-
Place the large gift wrap bow at the top to serve as the tree’s star or topper.
3. Add the branches using washi tape.

-
Place each “branch” on the wall with washi tape, ensuring they get wider as they move down.
-
Secure the garland or twine along each washi tape branch for added dimension.
-
Use clothes pins to temporarily attach cards to the branches, adjusting the spacing as needed.
4. Create the tree base.

-
Use washi tape to form a tapered base at the bottom of your tree, giving it a grounded, balanced look.
-
Make sure it’s centered and symmetrical for the best effect.

5. Display your cards and enjoy!
Finally, clip the holiday cards to the clothes pins on each branch, adjusting as needed to fill the tree.
Step back and enjoy your beautifully decorated holiday card tree!
This project is the perfect way to celebrate the season and add a personal touch to your holiday décor!
